WELCOME TO THE 4th ANNUAL MARTIAL ARTIST OPENWe would like to take this opportunity to welcome all competitors, their family and friends to the third annual Martial Artist Open. We aim to continue the tradition of hosting an annual event where martial artists of all styles and disciplines can compete against each other in a fair and neutral environment. Your participation has and will continue to help make this a reality and a success. We are doing things a little differently this year. In order to allow as many people to participate with the lowest wait times possible, we are spreading the event out over two days. On Saturday, March 3, 2012 we will be running all gi and no-gi grappling divisions, and on Sunday, March 4, 2012 we will run all sparring, kata and self-defense divisions. We would like to thank our sponsors for their support. We hope all participants and spectators reward their commitment to amateur sports in the local area by supporting their businesses. We would also like to thank in advance all of the volunteers, including judges, scorekeepers, officials and anyone else who took their time to make our event a success.
